Sports Briefs:

These were sports briefs used for the Sooner Sports Pad and a class assignment to inform audiences on what happened in that week of OU athletics. It is a quick breakdown of the results that happened in the games and any news that was released during this time span. It uses a creative way to express how or what happened. They were done in Studio A of the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications building, using graphics and sounds through the control rooms while being edited and scripted beforehand using the software the university has to provides for students.

Features/Packages:

These are stories designed to give visuals and information sought out and found that is intriguing to viewers, that is different from what other media industries might have been covering for class and OU Nightly. It gives insight and first-hand information that is directed at one person or company, giving expert analysis from the main source, so viewers know where the information has been retrieved from, showing its credibility and importance. It was done by reaching out and getting acceptance through the programs to get behind-the-scenes access for interviews and B-roll to show what is being said as visuals. All done through the university-provided camera and audio equipment and edited through the software provided.

News Stories:

This is a reporter-style story for class and OU Nightly that gets experts' and the public's views and information on the events being covered. It shows information gathering and what it does/means to the community, getting relevant and important information for viewers to depict and gather their own opinions on the matter to create conversation. It is aimed at the audiences in the area or close to it, as it could be something they are unaware of, and offering something that they might consider enticing.
